Testimonials

"Our lab has been operational since June 2011 and is running like a clock. It already has a positive cash flow (after only 2 months). You also welcome to see the lab anytime."

Managing Partner of a suburban No.VA GI group

"The group’s pathology lab has been operational since October 2007. Today it continues to run like a well oiled machine and has long since paid for itself. Our continued use of IOP keeps us up to date on the latest technology and regulations"

New York urology group Practice Manager

“I had another lab consultant who built my lab. It took 8 months to find a local pathologist.  She could not help me with histotechs, pathologists, software and billing. I lost over $250,000 in year one of operations. IOP would have saved me time, aggravation, and money, even after paying their fees.”

New Jersey GI who built their own in-office pathology laboratory without IOP

“Don’t even think of trying to do this yourself. IOP has connections and industry knowledge that others can only dream about. Our doctors are very pleased with our arrangement. We passed our COLA inspection with flying colors.”

Chief Operating Officer, large OH GI group

"IOP has impressed me with every aspect of their operation. The project has been handled professionally with minimal involvement on my part. They built a beautiful lab for us. The lab was launched on time. Their histotech consultant is excellent."

President/ NJ Multi-Specialty Group Practice (GI, urology, and derm)

"I am a good gastroenterologist but not so good as a project manager for a pathology laboratory. IOP got us CLIA certified while building and equipping our new pathology laboratory. It was worth every penny of their fees."

California GI group Managing Partner

"IOP completed our laboratory on time, on spec, and on budget in 90 working days. They built us a showcase laboratory. Their histotech consultant was great."

Managing partner, suburban NYC GI group

"IOP did everything they promised with minimal involvement on our part. I have recommended them to other GI groups with full confidence."

Managing partner, NJ GI group

"The laboratory policy and procedure manuals are the most detailed I have seen to date. I work at several other office-based pathology labs and the quality of these manuals is miles above the others I have seen and work with daily."

In-Office Pathologist, Large FL GI group

"IOP did everything possible to allow me and my partners to install and launch our new dermatopathology laboratory. I would recommend them highly to anyone."

Dermatopathologist, Central VA

Lake Forest, IL – In-Office Pathology, LLC (IOP) announced today that it has reached an exclusive agreement for credentialing and managed care contracting consulting services for IOP in-office pathology laboratories with Matthews (Matt) Ward of Richmond, VA. This exclusive agreement applies to all current IOP installations as well as in-office pathology installations with new specialty physician groups.

Pat Kalish, IOP’s VP of Corporate Communications, commented, “We have entered into this exciting new relationship to support our current clients’ in-office pathology laboratories as well as new IOP clients. Matt has captured payments when clients initially were rejected for reimbursement. We are the ONLY firm providing this critical service as part of our standard agreement. Matt is a well known expert headquartered in Richmond, VA. He spent nine years working for APS Medical, the oldest pathology only credentialing, managed care contracting and billing company. Before that Matt ran managed care relationships for multihospital systems. He brings added value to every IOP installation."

Matt stated, “The performance of practice based anatomic pathology labs is highly dependent on an efficient and effective operation of the lab and an understanding of payers’ policies towards the services provided.  We have seen credentialing, claims coding and contracting be the difference between highly effective practices and a failure to meet expectations.”

Pat continued, "Large specialty practices with an IOP pathology laboratory immediately see the benefits of our turn-key program. Our clients have reporting, information management, proper credentialing, compliant billing and local technical support unmatched by our competition. IOP specialty groups practice at a high standard of patient care plus are more productive. They all have on-site pathology consultations, which is unfortunately not the current state of affairs in pathology today. We are truly the market leaders with over 50+ installations in 20 states.

IOP guides specialty physicians in establishing their own compliant in-office pathology laboratories.
